At the end of this year, I have decided to leave AMONG and pursue a new path.
I myself never imagined that this day would come.
Over the past few years, my environment has changed dramatically due to pregnancy and childbirth.
I couldn't concentrate on either work or childcare, and I was feeling confused and living each day in a haphazard way, but this year, when my son turned 2 years old, I suddenly realized that I was starting to feel lost. Ta.
What am I going to do with my life now?
I was completely immersed in a vague sense of anxiety and confusion.
After much trouble,
What if I decided to leave AMONG, which I have been doing for granted, for a while?
That's what I came up with.
What do you want to do with your life in the future?
I feel that the time has come to take another look.
AMONG will continue to be managed by Nakamura.
I hope you continue to enjoy it.

In February 2014, I met Nakamura, who was my senior from my previous job, for the first time in a while.
At that time, I was unemployed and vaguely wondered, "What should I do now?"
Nakamura was also thinking about his future.
After finishing lunch at a soba restaurant in Ikejiri Ohashi,
It all started when I asked, ``Would you like to do something?'' 
Since that day, we have eaten together countless times and said, “Oishiine!”
At that time, I didn't know what I wanted to do, I just wanted to try something with my senior who was interesting and easy to talk to.
``Well, what are we going to do?'' Nakamura said to me, so I decided to do something.
There is such a start! ? Even remembering it now makes me laugh.
This is the beginning of AMONG.
There are so many cute and wonderful things in the world,
If we start from scratch, we don't just make things;
Let's put a message on it and deliver it together! I decided.
What you do is important, but why do you do it? What are you doing it for? and,
We talked a lot and came up with the concept of AMONG.

What do you really want?
I believe that what we really want is the ability to live a healthy and cheerful life at all times.
The world is rapidly changing, and things that were commonplace in the past are quickly becoming no longer commonplace.
Which way should I go?
What should I choose?
It's great to have so many options, but what should you do? I think I'm getting more and more confused.
At times like that, okay! I want to choose a path that instantly makes me feel lighter and a direction that makes me feel brighter.
I think someone's words can make you feel better, or you can feel refreshed by looking at the beautiful ocean.
I feel grateful for the wonders of nature, such as the gentle and relaxed shapes of plants and the geological formations that have been formed over many years.
Our experiences and discoveries are the origin of manufacturing.
We have designed this book with a message from our desire to have hints close at hand to help you move forward in a healthy and cheerful manner.
I would be happy if we could spend today and tomorrow happily, empathizing with, encouraging, and laughing with everyone who uses our products.

AMONG is an English preposition that means "between (more than one thing)."
I named it because I wanted to create new connections between things and between people.
It really lived up to its name. That's why words are amazing.
Looking back over the past eight and a half years, I have had the support and support of many people. I have many connections that I would not have had if I had not started AMONG.
AMONG is only possible because of everyone who supports us.
Inside the store when it opened in Nakameguro
This is currently a rental space called "Kafu Gallery" and will be open from December 17th (Sat) to 24th (Sat).
My first department store was Ginza Matsuya.
No matter which department I'm in, the customers are all really cheerful and fun people.
Nakamura and I were always talking, ``It's wonderful, and you can learn a lot from it!''
Meeting everyone is an irreplaceable treasure.
Of course, there is the fear and loneliness of letting go of things that have existed up until now.
When it comes to making a decision, I sometimes feel hesitant, and I also wonder if this is really the right choice. It's not like I've decided what I'll do next.
However, it is up to me from now on to make the decisions I make the right ones.
Recognize that you have made a decision now,
I would like to move toward a future where I can believe that ``I am where I am today because of the decisions I made back then.''
