言葉の力、あなどるべからず

The power of words should not be underestimated

Kamakura this weekend! 11/6 (Sat) 7 (Sun) 11:00-16:00
This is our first store at Rycom Weekend Market .

The location is an Okinawan restaurant called ``Rycom Crossroad'' on Komachi Street in Kamakura. This project was approached by Eri, the wife of the owner couple.

About 5 minutes walk from the east exit of Kamakura Station. Walk down that famous Komachi Street and you'll find it right in the middle. 2nd floor of Akiyama Building on the right. It's a tasteful building.
(2nd floor, Akiyama Building, 2-8-9 Komachi, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture)

Since Eri used to sell apparel, she helps plan events, create posters, and even make announcements, and she is very attentive to the details. This is my first attempt at the Rycom market, but I think it's something that is difficult to grasp without past experience. I'm really grateful.

Amang doesn't have a store at the moment, but instead opens pop-up stores all over the place, so it's quite difficult to find and decide on a location. There are benefits to opening a store in the same location multiple times, and meeting new customers in a new location is also a valuable opportunity.

The reason for opening this store was that my husband (Kaneko) often visited Rycom. (Thank you for visiting me a lot lol)

Ever since I lived on Hachijojima, I have had a strange connection with Kamakura. I currently live in the neighboring town of Zushi, but Kamakura is nearby so I go there often. Until I lived here, I didn't know that Zushi and Kamakura were neighboring stations.

Kamakura has many unique individual stores, so walking around the city is fun! However, there are so many shops that it can be difficult to decide where to go.

I would be happy if this event became one of your options, ``Where should I go when I go to Kamakura? Ah, I think I'll go to Rycom.'' If you've been there once, the hurdles will be lower♪

I'll be here for two days, so please feel free to come and visit me.

Enjoy a delicious Okinawan and American lunch ♪ The photo is part of the lunch.

"AMONG" means "between" in English.

When I started Amang in 2014,

I named it because I wanted to be an entity that connects people, things, regions, and countries .

It lives up to its name. The power of words is amazing.

If I had chosen a name other than Amang back then, I'm sure things would have turned out differently now.

It is important that you continue to express clearly what you want to become and how you want to be.

Words are important tools that open up unknown paths.

Of course, there is no right answer, but I feel that it will be easier to move forward if you say ``I want to do this.''

Don't underestimate the power of words! (I'm telling myself)

Thank you to everyone who met me through Amang and to everyone who is still connected to me.

yes! Speaking of connections, I would like to introduce Ai, who has joined Amang this month. (second from the right)

One of our customers who has always supported Amang. I am a senior at Nakamura's previous workplace. I'm really relieved because I already know how they work. Thank you. They took on tasks remotely that we were unable to handle.

In fact, my husband, Shoji (right), likes the pattern of ``Peach Chestnut 3 Years Persimmon 8 Years'', and I am a ``Peach Chestnut Boy'' by myself and others. LOL People always deeply sympathize with the messages contained in our textiles. *Momokuri Boys: Out of all the male customers, he owns the most Momokuri goods (thank you)

Many years ago, when Mr. Shoji opened a booth at a buyer's exhibition, he took the company's pay and helped me move it in...Even now, when I think about it, I cry...that exhibit. Because we mustered up the courage to exhibit at the event, we are now able to open a store at a department store. My son is also older than when this photo was taken and is now in kindergarten. I think this photo was taken about 2 years ago? By the way, the one on the left is Kaneko, and the second from the left is Nakamura. (The stole she is wearing is sold out.)

Time has passed, but I'm glad that I'm still involved in this way.

It's not related at all, but out of all the amang masks I own, I like the "Spice Arrangement" mask because it 's easy to match. It appears so many times that I don't even know how many times I've washed it. I feel more comfortable than disposable masks. ↓

This is my friend's child. The baby phase was fleeting. cute.

We'll be waiting for you in Kamakura! (Kaneko)
