どきどきの見本が届きました!

The exciting sample has arrived!

Arrived!
This is a trial weaving of the fabric requested in Kiryu.

Nakamura: “Momo-chan! It’s arrived!!!”

Kaneko: “Oh, let me see (what…??). I’d like to see it on video.”

Nakamura: “Okay.”
(Hangs up. Takes a movie while fluttering the cloth and sends it)
(Call from Kaneko via Facetime)

Kaneko: “Gyahaha, no, that’s different! This means show it to me while you’re talking^^”

Nakamura: “Ah!! I see, haha.”

By the way, the day before yesterday.
Mr. President: “I sent it to you. It will arrive tomorrow.”

Nakamura: “Wow, thank you very much!!”
(Hmm?? What will I receive??)

Here is what I was able to confirm during such an exciting exchange.
(Still, it's really helpful to be able to communicate in various ways. Even while I'm doing this, there are people who are working on the development every day. Thanks to you.)

Anyway, I'm impressed with this sample! !

Careful and clean. I don't know how to describe it, but it feels like this.

Ah, it's different from the actual one because the material and color are different.

There is great joy in turning something that used to be made from screens or drawing paper into cloth.
Wow, what happened back then turned out like this? That's interesting, I thought.

More than that, I was relieved!
It's a very nice atmosphere◎
Cloth is completely different from screen or paper, so I don't know until I try it, so I'm nervous every time.

There are two designs for the stole, both of which are based on patterns used in kimonos.
Both patterns are said to be auspicious patterns and are worn on auspicious occasions.

One of them has a Seigaiha motif↓
The design is based on the appearance of continuous waves.

Qinghai waves are said to contain the wish for a peaceful life to continue forever, just like the waves that repeat constantly in the endless ocean.

It is said that it was named after a gagaku song that appears in The Tale of Genji.

By the way, this is the Qinghai wave I saw in the city.

This is the carpet in the Miyako Hotel Lounge.

There is something like a fountain in the center of the lounge, and water is trickling down.
The garden that can be seen from the large windows is a dry landscape garden.
I see, that's delicious.

When we, the guests, relax in the lounge, we imagine that we are a small boat floating on calm waves.
Please take a look when you go out◎

After this, we will have you weave a sample using actual yarn!
The color stays on and the pounding continues.

Please take a look at the exhibition at Sora House in Shibuya from March 12th (Saturday) to March 16th (Wednesday).
