Hello everyone who is viewing the AMONG blog! My name is Takano.
(Kaneko and Nakamura call him Takanocchi)

I have been participating in Team AMONG since January!

Today I would like to meet AMONG and introduce myself.

My encounter with AMONG dates back to the summer of 2019.

It happened at Uniqlo, a local shopping mall, at the height of a hot summer that I'll never forget.

When I was wandering around shopping, I realized, ``Hah!'' A bright light blue bag caught my eye. A person who was shopping had it with him.

It was love at first sight...

Nanikore! ? A bag in the middle of my favorite color! So I suspiciously followed the owner, who was there with his family (I thought about calling out to him, but in the end I couldn't muster up the courage...), and I frantically looked at the owner, who was there with his family. I found the word "AMONG" on the tag.

I got home nervous, searched for "AMONG bag" on my computer, and wow, it was just as wonderful as I had imagined! While I was thinking that, I still wanted to see the actual size, feel, etc., and then I realized there was a POPUP store coming up soon!

I was looking forward to the Nihonbashi Takashimaya POPUP, and when I rushed out, I was unexpectedly surprised.

Shortage!

However, as a result of this, I started exchanging emails with Nakamura, and I was left with a very good impression of his polite response, which is how my relationship with AMONG began.

I was lucky enough to get a Kanna walking tote bag and I can't stop loving Kanna! !

After that, I continued to get stoles, masks, and badges, and I started going out with a grin on my face, covered in Kanna from head to toe.

I had been working at a different job for a long time, but by chance I decided to change jobs, and when I realized that I wanted to work surrounded by the things I love, the word "AMONG" came to mind.

However, when it comes to work, I'm thinking that getting hired won't be that easy...but hey! I sent an email to Nakamura in vain. Apparently, AMONG was also thinking about expanding, and the conversation progressed quickly.
(I think this kind of thing is really a coincidence and timing.)

And I was able to become a member of Team AMONG from January!
I have a lot of energy and enjoy working ♫

When I actually joined AMONG, I found out that there was a lot more to do than I expected! Packing and shipping after receiving an order, uploading received items to the website, inventory management, ordering, developing new products, preparing POPUP, etc.

I thought it was amazing that Nakamura and Kaneko were doing this together.

So, Takano is maintaining the website, planning special features, and creating pages ( 🍓Strawberry Festival🍓 is currently being held!)
・I am in charge of small matters that are difficult for two people to handle, such as taking inventory and formulating annual schedules.

I consider myself to be like a grandchild's hand, reaching out to those itchy areas...! !

Takano, who lives by chance and momentum, is from Nagoya and loves Komeda and miso stewed udon.
(As an aside, when there was a POPUP in Nagoya in the past, Nakamura said, ``When you think of Nagoya, you think of miso stew♪'' and he ate it for lunch.However, in the afternoon, at the store, he was so thirsty that he said, ``Give me some water!'' 〜!!Water〜〜〜!!'' It seems that the locals know this, so it is a golden rule not to drink the soup!)

After coming to Tokyo for university, I moved around to the United States (study abroad), Nagoya (worked), got married, Syria, England, Egypt, and now live in Tokyo.

We are a family of four, including a 6-year-old daughter born in Egypt, a 2-year-old son born in Tokyo, and my husband.

It's been a month since I started working here, and I'm starting to see AMONG things that I didn't know about when I was a customer. We want our customers to know this too! I have to tell you! I am burning with a mysterious sense of mission, and this blog will have AMONG like this in the future! We would like to deliver information that will make your days as bright and enjoyable as possible.
