Hello, this is Kurizawa from AMONG.
I recently returned to Japan for a short visit, and while I was shivering in the cold, I was enjoying the spring.
(Wow, it was really cold for a while! After moving, we left with piles of cardboard boxes, so I started by dragging my tired body and wondering where my winter clothes were. I was shivering.)
Plum and camellia trees are in full bloom.
Soft, gentle light and gentle colors.
The amount of light, the colour of the sky and the trees are all incredibly vibrant and different from Bali, and it makes me realise the diversity of scenery that the Earth has to offer.
Now, as soon as I got back to Japan, I would like to announce that a new pattern "Tenki" has been completed !
The Tenki pattern "stole" is a large rectangle. It can also be wrapped around your neck.
I created a wonderful piece that wraps around the heart, with soft, beautiful colors that seem to melt into the air.
We named the color "uraraka," and it really does look like a warm light.
Using weather as a motif, I hoped to use this textile to support the turning points that come our way.
This is a large square scarf .
Spring is a time when many people face various changes in their lives, such as graduation, enrollment, employment, transfers, and moving.
It's a precious moment when the familiar scenery you see every day suddenly makes you feel that it is irreplaceable and something that can only be seen now, and you can look at it anew with the same sense of surprise as when you are traveling.
A fresh feeling of mixed excitement and anxiety about the new environment.
Like a change in the weather, turning points can sometimes be sudden and make you feel lonely or scared, but they can also completely change the tone of your everyday life.
This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are ready.
The design was created to express gratitude and celebration for reaching this turning point.
There are two types of petit scarves. This one⬆️ has a motif of the sky, such as rain and wind.
Here's a pattern that looks like you're looking up at the sky through the trees⬇️ .
The petite scarf can be used as a hair accessory, or it's the perfect size to tie tightly around the neck of a crew neck shirt.
....
message: What a great day today. A day to celebrate new beginnings. A day that suits lots of thank yous and congratulations.
Textile: Tenki
Color : Bright (purple x blue )

For me too, leaving Japan for a while to live in Bali was a big turning point.
The climate, customs, language, food, everything is different.
Huh?! What's that?! There were times when I was confused, times when I wanted to say "Tch!", but there were also a ton of times when I felt "Oh, that's wonderful" and "What a relief." The people I met were really kind to me and took care of me.
I would like to try a lifestyle where I travel back and forth between Japan and the US for a while.
The floating clouds look so pleasant!
The colour of the scarf was decided in Bali.
I brought Pantone with me, so I had them make color samples for me after much deliberation. I asked Haruna-chin in Japan to receive the color samples, and we decided to discuss it over video call.
The wifi at the inn went dead just before the meeting time (it happens). I quickly ran to a nearby cafe.
Haruna-chin: "It's great! It's very pretty!"
Me: "Isn't this white too white?"
Haruna-chin: "Ahh, yeah, maybe!"
What an exchange.
I asked for some color adjustments and then we went to production. I'm glad we were able to communicate well even though it was online!! It turned out really nice.
It's a great gift for yourself as you go through a turning point in your life, or for someone who has helped you.
Celebrate life's milestones with gratitude.
There haven't been many opportunities to see it in person for a while, so I'll be visiting as many places as possible this spring!!
We will update the POPUP schedule from time to time, so please drop by at a time that is convenient for you. First-time visitors are also welcome.
We also have a small selection of souvenirs from Bali.
Of course, please try the new products too! (Kurisawa)
