For two days, April 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun), we will be opening a pop-up shop at the shared space "Co-coya", which is about a 7-minute walk from Nakayama Station in Yokohama. The space was rented as AMONG's office for over two years until we moved in January of this year. Co-coya is pronounced Cocoya.
Interaction with the craftsman: Nakamura: ``When it's finished, please send it to Cocoya!'' Craftsman: ``Cocoya? Dokoya?'' At the end of the phone call, we had this usual exchange (lol)!
Where is Nakayama Station? ? You may think so, but if you use the Shinkansen, it's only 30 minutes from Tokyo Station! 10 minutes from Kikuna Station on the Toyoko Line!
Click here for Co-coya's Instagram .
It was originally an old private house, but after a long and sustainable full renovation, it was finally completed this spring. (It was a grand project supported by Yokohama City! I respect everyone on the team.)
Because it is made of glass, it is open and open to the community.
The dismantled wood is used as fuel for the indoor wood stove. There is also a wood-burning bath made from cypress! If you're interested in renovations that don't place a burden on the environment and utilize traditional techniques, I think this will definitely be helpful. I forget the time when I listen to designer Haru-chan's story. This is Haru-chan. Exotic beauty!
Inside the building is the kitchen and atelier of foodcircus , which makes insanely delicious baked goods (we hope to hold a hop-up event at the same time, depending on the timing). There is also a workshop run by a popular artist who creates breathtakingly beautiful pottery. I'm always inspired by it.
There is a silver car (Airstream) in the square next to it. When I first saw it, I was surprised by its silver body that suddenly appeared in a residential area! I took a photo of it earlier, but it was too big to fit in the photo.
A curry, donut, and accessory marche will be held here from 11:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, April 17th . (Looks delicious~ I'll definitely eat it!)
AMONG is a textile dyed in Yokohama, so I thought we could do a pop-up at Co-coya, which we have been using for a long time. Kaneko suggested. I'm glad that Haru-chan, who runs this place, also wanted to do an AMONG pop-up.
This neighborhood is like a village, or rather, it has become a village . I usually meet someone when I'm walking lol. There are cafes nearby (the ``Bacteria Cafe'' with a fermentation theme is delicious!), a gallery, and ``Kirakuso'', a space where you can have cozy concerts and dinner parties. This is today's photo. The cherry blossoms are amazing! !
About a 15-minute walk away is a forest called Shiki-no-Mori Park! There is a huge park like The cherry blossoms are in full bloom here too! ! Fireflies can be seen in the summer, and kingfishers and owls also live here. I often use it for photo shoots. A really great place. Perfect for a walk!
This bag ⇧ is "Spice Balance" M tote . Nijumaru has an atmosphere that can be used like a basket bag for the summer. It fits A4 size perfectly.
This photo was also taken at Shiki-no-Mori Park. In the background is a reed meadow. There are only a few left of this stall ``Spice Warm'' ⇩. The magenta pink makes your face look brighter and is just a great color!
The venue is about a 7-minute walk from Nakayama Station on the JR Yokohama Line or Municipal Subway Line. It's a mostly flat ride. Click here to access . The top is a map. Or, you can definitely follow what Google says ◎
Please feel free to come and visit us. I'll be waiting for you all day! (Nakamura)
